I was just invoking the hard-earned lessons of my youth: Avoid eye contact with any and all authority figures at all costs.
Just remember your promise to me, OK? You and me together again, happy, healthy and more in love than ever.
PACEY: How does changing my physical appearance help you?
JOEY: Believe me, if I don’t have to look at thing on your face any more, I will consider myself helped.
JOEY: So as far as you’re concerned I slept with you & then took myself in and got re-virginised?
PACEY: In my mind, yes.
